Beginning Hand Appliqué - Beginner
Learn the basics of needleturn appliqué as one completes "Summer Blooms". Inside and outside points, gentle curves and a stem are taught in this class along with a discussion of recommended tools and supplies for appliqué.

This is a step ahead of beginning needleturn appliqué. Skinny stems, appliqué piecing and other appliqué techniques will be taught as students work on a bouquet of wild flowers.

Royalty (shown right)
Remember cutting paper snowflakes in grade school? The same technique applies here as students cut their own design from paper or use the pattern provided. Needleturn applique along with the cutwork technique is used on the center design and border in this 3 hour class.
