Announcing:Baltimore on the Prairie
Baltimore on the Prairie is a new appliqué conference focusing on techniques in the Baltimore Album style of the mid 1800’s.
![]() It offers teaching by quilt artists in a relaxed, comfortable setting accompanied by good food and long lasting friendships.
Click here to view the conference details: Tresa learned needlework skills at an early age from her mother, Shirley Coats Vogelman. This grew to a love of all kinds of handwork and particularly to quilting. The purchase of a Cherry Basket quilt originally made in 1868 (shown below) began her interest in the historical nature of quilt-making and quilt-makers. Tresa connects the past and the present in her lectures and workshops with passion, excitement and spirit and offers a window to the future. ![]()
