Tresa grew up with many kinds of needlework but has been an enthusiast of quilt making since the completion of her first quilt: Grandmother’s Flower Garden in 1982. Since then she has been an avid student of quilting and is now sharing those lessons with others.

Tresa has quilts published in “Hearts and Flowers - Hand Appliqué From Start To Finish” (2002) and “A Heartland Album - More Appliqué Techniques" (2003), both published by Kansas City Star Books.
