Announcing:Baltimore on the Prairie
Baltimore on the Prairie is a new appliqué conference focusing on techniques in the Baltimore Album style of the mid 1800’s.
![]() It offers teaching by quilt artists in a relaxed, comfortable setting accompanied by good food and long lasting friendships.
Click here to view the conference details. Tresa learned needlework skills at an early age from her mother, Shirley Coats Vogelman. This grew to a love of all kinds of handwork and particularly to quilting. The purchase of a Cherry Basket quilt originally made in 1868 (shown below) began her interest in the historical nature of quilt-making and quilt-makers. Tresa connects the past and the present in her lectures and workshops with passion, excitement and spirit and offers a window to the future. ![]()
